Grapefruit oil is one of the common citrus top notes in perfumery. It smells distinctively bright, tropical and citrusy (and just like a grapefruit). Very easy to use - simply add to almost any perfume composition to uplift it with a bright opening. This particular quality from Albert Vieille (recently renamed Givaudan House of Naturals) is particularly fine.
