Myrcene

Myrcene is naturally emitted by plants and is essentially a nature smell. Think walking in a fresh leafy late springtime forest. It is not often used directly in perfumery, however I use it for two accord in particular: Firstly, the petrichor (rain) accord (which is also available for purchase on The Fragrance Foundry), and secondly, it's my secret for adding realism to a mango accord (mangoes naturally contain myrcene).
