The same molecule as Iso E Super, Timbersilk is made by IFF and is the preferred version of the perfumer here at The Fragrance Foundry. To their nose it's sweeter and more velvety, less scratchy.
Iso E Super is one of the most famous molecules in perfumery and is found in most commercial perfumes. It add a diffusive and long-lasting woody amber note which blends well with most other raw materials.
